GOSSELIN and DGM Racing Team lead at Michigan

In Second Start in Nascar Craftsman Truck Series

BROOKLYN, MI (June 14, 2008) – Mario Gosselin driving the CrashedToys.com, DGM Enterprises and Attorney James Carter sponsored, Chevrolet Silverado lead a lap and completed the race at Michigan International Speedway. Gosselin who is among the all-time lap leaders in both the Hooter’s Pro-Cup series and ARCA RE/MAX series was pleased with his run and the team’s continued improvement. It was only their second start in the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series.

Gosselin noted that the race was exciting and good learning experience for him and the team. “It’s taking us a little while to get used to the difference between running these trucks versus our cars,” said Gosselin after the race. “I’m definitely getting better and we’re getting closer with the setups. It was cool to get our names in the record books for leading a lap even though it was just good pit strategy. ”

Erik Darnell driving for Jack Roush surged past Johnny Benson in the final 50 yards to win by inches. Benson lost by a mere .005 seconds, the closest margin of victory in the Truck Series since NASCAR began electronic timing a decade ago. It was Darnell’s first win of the season and the first win in the Truck Series season for Roush-Fenway and Ford. Ron Hornaday and team owner Kevin Harvick had an angry confrontation with Kyle Busch in the garage after Busch's contact spun out Hornaday on the final lap in Turn 1.

Hornaday, the points leader going into the race, was running fourth. Busch's Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota tapped him in the left rear. Hornaday finished 23rd, the last truck on the lead lap, and fell to third in the points, 21 behind Benson, the new leader.

Gosselin’s next appearance with the CrashedToys.com Chevrolet Silverado has not been finalized at this time, but could be as early as the Kentucky race scheduled in July. For additional information go to www.mariogosselin.com, www.CrashedToys.com and Nascar.com
